Meet the Team

  • Sarah Smith – Brisbane

    Full registration as a General Psychologist (AHPRA) 

    Bachelor of Psychology 

    Sarah is a kind and calm psychologist who works with children, teens, and adults. She focuses on building meaningful and productive therapeutic relationships that empower clients to achieve their wellness goals. Sarah provides counselling services for anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, identity, interpersonal relationships, and life transitions. 

    Sarah draws on modalities including CBT, ACT, the Gottman Method, and has a particular interest in EMDR therapy. With experience in government, forensics, and education settings, she has worked with people across various ages and backgrounds and has an in-depth knowledge of school environments. 

    Based in Brisbane, Sarah offers both in-person and Telehealth counselling and is Medicare rebate eligible. 

  • Jessica McLeod – Townsville

    Bachelor of Social Work 

    Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AASW) 

    Bachelor of Psychology Science

    Jessica is a compassionate mental health social worker who works with adults, teens, and couples. Her approach is client-centred and practical, providing evidence-based interventions and strategies tailored to her clients’ needs and goals. Jessica offers counselling services for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem, identity, and relationship concerns. 

    Jessica’s expertise includes trauma-informed yoga, EMDR therapy, CBT, ACT, and the Gottman Method. When working with couples, she creates a safe and neutral space to help them discuss their concerns. Jessica is trained in Level 2 of the Gottman Method. 

    With over 17 years of experience in the mental health field, Jessica has worked in government, non-government, and educational settings, including with Police, Defence, and Secondary Schools. She has a deep understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges that Defence members and their families face. 

    Based in Townsville, Jessica offers both in-person and Telehealth counselling and is eligible for Medicare rebates.
